WHY DO WE RECOMMEND A CONSULTATION WITH AN IMMIGRATION ATTORNEY?

Even though on the face of it, your immigration case might seem straightforward, unfortunately in most cases, this is seldom true. A consultation gives us the opportunity to really understand issues particular to your immigration case so that we can apply the right strategy that would lead to the outcome you desire. This is also one of the reasons we will never quote a fee without sitting down with you first and thoroughly understanding your circumstances. A consultation also gives you the opportunity to ask questions and evaluate whether we meet your expectations.

WHAT IF I CANNOT MEET PERSONALLY WITH AN IMMIGRATION ATTORNEY?

Although a face-to-face meeting is ideal, we can also arrange a consultation via video conference (Zoom/Teams) or over the phone – just let us know.

IS THERE A FEE ASSOCIATED WITH THE CONSULTATION?

There is a fee of $260 for a consultation for individuals with one of our immigration attorneys for up to 45 minutes. This fee will be fully credited towards the fees for your case should you engage our services for the matter discussed in the consultation within 3 months of the consultation. The consultation fee is waived for corporations.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENTS YOU DO ACCEPT?

Although we have all forms of payments for the attorney and filing fees, our consultations are scheduled online using a credit card. Please note that payment for the consultation is required prior to the consultation.

IF I DECIDE TO GO AHEAD WITH MY IMMIGRATION CASE, WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

Once you have decided to proceed with us, we will draw up a formal fee agreement that details the services we are going to provide as well as all the fees that will be associated with your case. Once this document is signed by both parties, it will form the basis of our Attorney-Client relationship. After this, we may need to contact you again to make sure that we have all the relevant documentation before we begin the process of filing the relevant immigration visa petition on your behalf. Throughout the whole process, we will provide you with all the updates as they relate to your case.

DO YOU CHECK COMPLETED FORMS I HAVE COMPLETED?

Unfortunately we cannot verify the immigration forms completed by individuals for completeness as we are unable to advise individuals filing immigration petitions on their own without counsel.
